This week Sandro’s pick is the Yanagisawa A991S Alto Saxophone. This horn features an underslung octave key, double key arms on the low C and the low B, full-body ribbing system, and a floating linkage between the low C# and low B key for easy transition.
The second instrument we are updating today is a rare Selmer Reference 54 Kookaburra Edition Tenor Saxophone. This is only one of 50 in all of the USA and Canada, made as part of Selmer’s “Bird” series celebrating Charlie Parker. The Kookaburra Edition features a beautiful engraving of a Kookaburra on the bell and unique bird engravings on the neck. Of course, the instrument plays beautifully as well, as it is Selmer’s best model tenor. Check it out!
